(Anonymous) 2017-06-11 08:57 pm (UTC)(link)Yeah but....a relationship with someone who isn't legal is a different thing than a "May - December" relationship. I mean, sometimes they might overlap (and the secret maker does seem to be conflating the two), but a May - December relationship is just referring to a large age gap between the two. It doesn't have anything to do with legality.

(Anonymous) 2017-06-11 09:14 pm (UTC)(link)Yes, the OP was claiming that these May/December relationships between women apparently feeds into the stereotype that gay women are predatory pedophiles. However, if that was the case, wouldn't the OP be more concerned with popular ships where one of the characters isn't even an adult? In my experience, there are many popular M/M and M/F ships where this is the case, whereas there aren't many F/F ships where it is.
