I've seen Moulin Rogue a few times, and, yeah, I guess you're right, that really was a better singing performance. Still, never found him the least bit interesting until now...which is, admittedly, rather odd. - OP

The only thing I've ever found him interesting or the least bit attractive in was in his documentary Long Way Round. I think there's just some random things that will click with people, and it's not necessarily the person but the situation. Idk. Brains and emotions and attraction are weird.

He's just so earnest and open in it! I mean, I'm hard wired to love an adventure of that type but he and Charlie really were awesome in it. I love how they handled documenting it, from the planning all the way through.

Yes! Ewan's little moments of 'i was just expecting people to hand me things, but who am i do expect that?', and how much they helped and supported each other. I have the whole series on my hd, i rewatch all the time.

I LOVED Long Way Round. I really need t sit down and rewatch that someday.

Is it awful that I've never read the book? I just loved the documentary so much. I've been feeling the need for a rewatch lately but haven't gotten around to it yet.
