Yep to the gay thing.

Also, people who insist that gay and trans headcanons are canon when they aren't canon. I don't mind headcanons, but if it's not canon, it's not canon. Nothing wrong with having a headcanon. But they tend to act like you're taking something away from them if you don't agree that it's real canon and not just a head canon.
