As a casual The 100 watcher, I really want to like Clarke, but I just can't quite get there. The writing could be better, but primarily I just feel like the character was miscast. There's definitely kind of a dull-edged quality about her. I feel like the role called for someone with more innate vulnerability, but also more striking sharpness. Clarke comes across as strong (which is why I want to like her), but in a blunt sort of way that I just don't find very compelling.
