I have a filmmaker Facebook friend from high school who avoids movie trailers because he considers them spoilers.

I find him insufferable, and I think I finally unfollowed him.

Then again, I adore movie trailers, though I most prefer to see them in movie theatres ahead of a movie.

What's wrong with avoiding trailers? And you find him insufferable because of that? That's a pretty ignorant reason. Some people like seeing movies fresh.

I think it's dumb. That doesn't mean there's anything inherently anything wrong with avoiding trailers if that's what you choose to do, but that's my personal opinion.

As for him, that's not the only reason I find him insufferable. I think he's a pretentious, arrogant jackass who expresses his opinions in a way I personally find irritating.
