Pokemon Go Solstice Event

How goes it for everyone?

So far I've filled in several dex spots, including a magmar today! And I've shot from just reaching level 26 right before the event started to halfway to 27.

Haven't gotten shit. There are Houndour sightings around town but nowhere I'm able to go during my "out and about" time.

It does not help that my town is always overrun with Ponyta, Vulpix, and Growlithe, even without the event going on. Swinub are plentiful, but back when it was still winter, they were everywhere anyway (but they went away in spring/summer; do seasons affect Pokemon Go?).

I just want Sneasel, Houndour, Delibird, Jynx, and enough Cyndaquil/Charmander/Seel/Shelder to evolve into their final stages.

Caught my first Swinub today! I'm excited because most of the things that are spawning are things that never show up around her normally (Cyndaquil, Vulpix, Ponyta, Growlithe, Shellder) so I'm hoping I can catch enough to evolve a bunch of stuff.

Same here. Jealous of all the people saying they normally have swinub everywhere! I ran three blocks to catch one for my pokedex a couple months ago and that was the only one I ever saw before the event.

Cyndaquil spawned occasionally, but I'd never gotten anything above a 2/2. Now I'm finally getting some good ones!

Now Grass Event I saw no difference to the spawns, we're always swimming in grass types normally.

Probably not part of the event, but I just caught my first Chansey! Time to walk that pink beeotch until she turns into a gym-breaker like everyone else has.
