I am like 100% sure that there are women comics out there doing material all about how they're just one of the guys

Considering how many comedians just go on about "women's issues" then yeah, it does come off as preachy. It isn't even political comedy, just "hey, this sucks and all women go through it" (which always ignores the women who don't).
