Inspired by visiting a family friend's house for the first time.

Something that always make me panic for a couple seconds is flushing someone else's toilet for the first time. No matter what sound it makes I always think, "Oh god, is that the normal sound???"

being around little kids on those damn shoes that are actually skates you can't see the wheels on. I'm always nervous as hell because no little kid has voluntarily gotten out of an adult's way since 1983 and I'm very klutzy and don't want to be accused of knocking over some little entitled crotch fruit.

It's an irrational fear of homphobia thing, so they don't even have to be loud.

I've been bashed in restrooms before. So on bad mental health days, I get a shot of panic when I'm not alone in one.

Having to call someone on the phone.

I hate talking to people on the phone. I always got to make scripts so I know what to say.

Having to pay at the register or ordering food. It always activates my stutter problem asdfghjkll!

I have the dumbest irrational fear.

Whenever I put a Netflix DVD into the mailbox to send it back, I worry that a random driver passing by will decide to swipe it from my mailbox.

I used to worry that it would just get lost and then they would like...do whatever Netflix does when DVDs go missing.
