She *did* seem really awesome in the trailers, but every single thing i've heard about this movie is just horribly bad.

I wasn't terribly on board with the whole re-boot thing, though; I don't care much about most of the monsters they were going to focus on, *particularly* Jeckle/Hyde and The Invisible Man. None of them piqued my interest much.

See, I'd kill for a proper reboot of either Jekyll & Hyde or the Invisible Man but this franchise is not even remotely the direction that would need to go in to be good, so I'm also 100% not on board.

I'll be stuck with League of Extraordinary Gentlemen forever.

It was so much worse than I expected. She's a queen with all these awesome powers, and she waited for thousands of years... for uncanny valley botox lad. Wtf? No one would wait for Tom Cruise for an hour, let alone thousands of years.

So true. Honestly, I can barely tolerate Cruise as an action star but making him a romantic leading man goes beyond my ability to suspend disbelief.
