"HOUSE, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"

That's another one I shout. But that's quite often yelled at Chase. I often forget how opportunist he is, and then he goes behind someone's back or grasses on someone, and then I'm like that.

There have been times that House has gone too far, but as you described perfectly, they are disturbingly rare. The only time I can recall is when he a) put Wilson's fingers in some water. (ew) and b) when he was ready to remove that girl's arm and leg.

He gets forgiven an awful lot. By Wilson and Cuddy and ducklings and me.

Wilson puts up with a lot, but he can be quite mean sometimes. When he says something that he might not say if he was being nice, that hurts. But I think he needs to tell House off. He's the only one who can, and House NEEDS boundaries. But when he is mean, that does hurt, yes yes.

Hahaha, I remember shouting it when he put Wilson's hand in water, as well, but it was followed by, "You idiot, that's your couch!"

I know! My mom is always whining about how terrible House is, and she gets a little scared that I'm always jumping to his defense (she probably thinks I pop pills or something. XD) but his good points outweigh his bad ones, you know? ...and he knows it.

Yeah, agreed, but there are times when I feel like he takes to too far, one time that comes to mind is recently, when they were walking down the hall and House asked "where are we going?" and WIlson's response was "nowhere, I just know it hurts you." I was like, ouch, that was kinda uncalled for, Jimmy.

yep, I did that too. It just shows how much he'll go to to get to some people *sigh* (I checked and re-checked that sentence. I think it makes sense.

but his good points outweigh his bad ones, you know? ...and he knows it.

I wouldn't have quite put it like that, but I certainly think he is a lot nicer than he makes out. He's a lot nicer than people think he is. And I'm not sure he knows that.

I watched that episode recently. I didn't see it as a bad thing, I mean it sounded like a thing House would do if the shoe was on the other foot (pun!) . Someone posted a secret here ages ago about when Wilson left House after he OD'ed. I don't think that was that bad a thing either. He checked that House wasn't going to be too hurt, and then he'd had enough. So he left him. It makes sense to me, but then it looks like I'm willing to forgive WIlson anything :S

No, THAT he doesn't know, that's true. I don't think he has any idea that he's sometimes rather nice. But I meant his mind, how smart he is and all that, he knows the hospital will keep is tenure'd ass because he's such an amazing doctor. XD

I dunno, I think that since it did seem like something House would do, I was shocked taht Wilson was the one to say it. I just wasn't expecting it, I guess. I actually agree about the OD, though. I mean, I was shocked, and kinda mad, in a way that was more just loyalty to House than anything else, but he checked his vitals. He wasn't leaving him for dead, or anything. And then he did what any good friend would do and turned him in in hopes that he'd get help, even though it killed him to do so, and you could tell.

like at the end of the episode with the lying mother, where he realises that the girl tells the truth to the mum and the mum lies to the daughter, both because THEY LOVE EACHOTHER.

HIS MIND IS THE SEX. TRU FAX. BUT YES, HE KNOWS IT. AND YET HE ISN'T AS COCKY AS SOME OF THE GUYS ON MY COURSE... :S

Maybe it shows how Wilson is picking up stuff from House? Or getting in better control of him: their dynamic is changing? Don't tell me too much, cos I've only just reached that episode, but I think it signals a change in their relationship. More even, less even? I don't know, but certainly a change.

I totally understood it. I mean, while I was a bit annoyed cos it was against the shippy shippy love, it also was stupid. It actually was STUPID. And Wilson knows that House isn't always looking for sympathy (I don't think so anyway) and maybe he didn't want to believe his friend could be so stupid? I was glad he checked he was going to be alright, and I think turning him in us what any best friend would do (being cruel to be kind, and all that jazz). The fact that Wilson knows how much House would hate it, and yet goes and does it anyway, suggests there is more love there than you can see straight out. And yes, it did kill him, bless him.

Apart from being a bit of an ass sometimes, I don't think I could fault Wilson's actions a bit :) (however contradictory that sounds...)

THAT EPISODE MADE ME CRY. D:

Well, see, his cockiness, unlike most men's, is deserved, which makes it easier to put up with. XD It's so rare that a guy who is full of himself actually should be.

Could be true. Looking back, it doesn't seem was WTF, but at the time I remember thinking, "Woah, kitty's got claws." XD I'm amazed you haven't already been spoiled, but I'm certainly not gonna do it for ya! :x

*bounces* EXACTLY. I mean, it broke my heart, 'cause what part of the mad shipper in me wanted was for Wilson to stay there with him, call 911, and follow him to the hospital and spend the night there, but that just wouldn't have had the same weight to it, anyway. I thought the end of Merry Little Christmas was just played out beautifully. And realistically.

Haha, I know what you mean. I feel that way about the both of them. My mom always brings up that Wilson's cheated on his wives, and usually there is no forgiveness on my end when that happens, but - this is Wilson. D:
