Not gonna help. My girlfriend is very much a "Hide at the back and be unobtrusive" type. I honestly think the only thing she ever said was "Sure" and "Thank you" to anyone who was not me this whole weekend. I kinda wonder what she gets out of cons, if not the chance to talk to our fellow nerds.

That said, I have notices far fewer people approach her for photos when I'm right there, so your point does stand. I can see these dudes eyeing her, start to approach with a camera, see me, then grampa simpson it right outta there.
