It's an american political thing, tho. Like I haven't seen opportunity to be alt right in the UK politics. I mean I havn't been looking, but all the stuff about the alt right seems to be about engaging in american politics.

I'd say that that's more about the party constellations though? The differences is that the Angry Young Men have a political outlet in the US (through the far right wing of the Republican party), but not really in the UK, where the Conservatives are "traditionally" conservative rather than populist rightwing (which seemed to be the UKIP crowd, at least from the outside). That doesn't mean that the sentiment behind the alt-right isn't still there. I've certainly seen my share of people raving about the PC feminazi muslim-loving whores and whiteknights who are out to take away everything fun, and I've seen the kind of politicians they gravitate towards in other countries.

I'd argue that the UKIP is pretty fucking far from populist anything.

I mean, the sentiment behind the Alt right may be strong here, but they'd still all be labour voters, wouldn't they Like in the UK you cant vote torie, and claim to be part of anything other than the upperclass. Any one on any part of the right wing spectrum voting labour is doing it wrong.
