What's the wrong order?

I wear makeup everyday to work, but pretty light makeup relative to a lot of women. I do eyeliner, mascara, tinted BB cream and powder. I think I read you are supposed to do eye makeup last, but I always do it first... if I mess up my liquid liner or mascara, I need to be able to wipe it without messing up foundation/BB cream/powder.

In this instance, I was putting the finishing powder on before the foundation, and even as I was doing it, I knew something was wrong and felt off, but it wasn't until I looked over and saw the foundation underneath where the the finishing powder had been.

I also put eyeshadow on before eyeliner like a fucking idiot because I was really excited about the eyeshadow. It was one of five new ones I'd just gotten.

I did not know it was recommended to do eye makeup last. I usually do lips last.

I always put on eyeshadow before eyeliner, I don't know how it would work if you did eyeliner first?

Also a lot of make up artists I've seen online do eyes first so that way if they have any eyeshadow fallout it won't mess up the rest of their make up
