So Twitter has been doing a whole bunch of things to experiment with different ways to show posts. One of the things they've been doing is they'll display tweets in your feed that were made by people who you don't follow, but that were liked by a bunch of accounts that you do follow. And those show up pretty regularly for me, and they're almost always selfies. Like, an extremely high percentage of the time.

And like... I feel really bad saying it, but it kind of has a real negative effect on my self-image and mood? It just feels like this endless parade of genuinely beautiful, cool people, and it's not people that I know personally and support, and it just feels bad. I don't know. It's so irrational but it's also frustrating, and there's no way to turn it off. It just kinda bums me out.

Bleh.
