Promoted as a monster (infection?) movie. Ends up being one of those quiet movies about loss. Sort of like the babadook without the actual monster.

I'm torn because I want to know how it's misleading but on the other hand I'm one of the few people that really really like The VVitch.

High fives, I like VVitch too. And just found out people hated it, but I think it had to do more with how it was marketed.

Yeah, it wasn't a bad movie, but I went in really expecting more of a straight-forward horror movie I could have fun and get scared at. Instead it was just depressing.
