Lol nice screenshot

I was so attracted to all the blonde siblings (besides imouto-chan obviously). big sister, cute bro, and heroic bro.

seriously though I always do have permadeath on, because it's fire emblem and That's Right. but I also immediately turn off the game and restart if anyone actually does die, because while I want permadeath on, I also don't want anyone to actually die.

I play with it on but reset if someone dies so it's almost the same thing. I don't really get the point of shaming people for casual mode especially in fates where it's unfairly hard/stacked against you depending what route your playing. And echoes has the turn wheel as a great big undo button (even if I didn't realize it and reset like three times after Python bit it, whoops)

Ain't nothing wrong with that.

I like to play with it on but will also reset if someone dies. But the potential consequences of death makes me treat the strategy aspect more seriously.

I play with it on to save time. I'm pretty sure the reason I've yet to finish the GBA games was because one gazillion resets because I couldn't stand anyone dying.

I mean honestly, the point of playing video games is to have fun. Way back in the SNES days I played an emulated game with one of those infinite-life cheats, and you know what... I enjoyed it. I was more interested in the story, anyway.

I played my first FE with permadeath on and never reset when someone dies. Except at some point I realised I was the only magic user left alive and tbh who wants to live with that?

Games are there to be enjoyed. And lots of people who play on Classic reset anyway. :p

I love having a casual mode now. Permadeath broke my heart back in the day, man. Why go through that again? My first playthrough is always on casual, I don't want to spend more time than I have to analyzing my every move to death, I want to experience the story and get to know the characters.
