Thanks! I have a bunch of recipes like that, where it's add to taste, but this is a good start.

I have a cake called "dump cake" because you just sort of dump whatever you have in the house- raisins, nuts, chopped apples, whatever!

Nice! I made a cake with bits of apple in it once, as an experiment. It definitely changed the texture, but it was really good.

I have a recipe for apple cider muffins, where you chop up apples and use fresh apple cider. It's a good breakfast muffin.

If this is the same recipe, I used just regular flour instead of alternating with whole wheat. I may or may not have added the cloves depending on if I have any in the house.

It's frustrating when links change!
