Olivia/Barba from L&O SVU...most people seem to ship Olivia with either Alex or Elliott (and I used to ship her with Elliott, too, until a specific scene) and Barba with Carisi.

Reade/Tasha from Blindspot. Most people seem to ship her with various women and him with nobody.

I'm not super familiar with Teen Wolf, but from what little I've seen, I preferred Stiles/Scott which seems to be unpopular from what I can tell.

And a random one, there was a show called Twisted, where I shipped the main dude, Danny, with this girl named Jo instead of this other girl, Lacey. From what I remember of the fandom, people seemed to HATE Danny/Jo (if I'm remembering right, there was a lot of "but they're like brother and sister!") and Danny/Lacey were super popular (and eventually became canon, I think; I quit watching before the end because the show got boring and I lost interest).

I liked Jo/Danny too. It was the first time I had experienced the "you're a racist if you don't like this pairing" accusations.

Hey!

I was just reminded of Twisted today while looking through a Tumblr's users TV edits.

I watched the first half of the first season and then just...fell out of watching.

I remember being one of the people who preferred Danny/Lacey, but I always felt like Danny/Jo was supposed to be endgame, from the writers' POV. I was also way more invested in shipping Jo's mom with Danny's mom because Jo's dad was a jackass & Denise Richards & that other actress had a lot of chemistry together.
