I did it a couple times but I didn't prefer it. I had a bit more alone time though cause my roommate went home most weekends. Also my roommate slept like the dead. If you don't have a floor/group bathroom the shower is more polite, but as long as it isn't like you are creeping on THEM (like looking at them while you do it) and you know they won't wake up I don't think it's super creepy, but trying to figure out alone time is better obviously.
