I'm pretty sure the issue is less that it could be possible and more that some people treat it as an absolute fact.

And that's a reaction to everyone else treating it as an absolute fact that he's gay. For heaven's sake, Yuuko's profile on the website says she's "the girl of Yuuri's dreams." He could still be gay, you can twist yourself in knots interpreting his feelings for Yuuko however you see fit, the rest of us are just saying the bisexuality evidence isn't nonexistent.

The secret doesn't just say that the evidence exists. It says that the evidence is "obvious." Meaning that anyone who interprets the story in a different way is deluding themselves, rather than simply... interpreting the story in a different way.
