You apparently don't realize that when someone says "my" they don't mean it belongs to them, they mean they like it. Like, I say "my band" when I mean "my favorite band" not "the band that I am in."

So if someone would call Black Panther "my bae" it means "I like Black Panther a lot" not "BP belongs to me."

But that's the point. I can't take any claims of loving a character oh so much seriously when you don't even bother reading the material they appear in and support it.
