As a long-time fan of Wonder Woman and all of her awesomeness, I'm not going to lie, the idea of men claiming her makes me rage a bit. Men can love the film, love the comics, love the character, enjoy her immensely, etc, but she is not theirs to "claim." Love, yes. Claim, no.

I do not understand what it means to "claim" a character. It isn't yours, any more than it is Joe Blow's over there. It's fine to relate to the character. But you are all sharing the character because it is the creator who owns the character.
