Whoa there boy, you haven't thought this through. Teaching magic in a fantasy world is a death sentence, son. Obi Wan? Dead. Qui Gon, dead. Dumbledore, dead. Snape, dead. Lupin, dead. Gandalf, dead (but got better). The list goes on and on. You teach magic to some generic kid, and next thing you know he turns out to be the chosen one and you WILL die in order to let him be the one to grow up and defeat the bad guy. You will never even see it coming. The last thing you want to do in an epic fantasy world is be the magic teacher, that'll kill you.
