I don't think it's proof everything Whedon's ever done is horrible (each work should be judged by their own merits, or lack thereof) but it's not entirely unjustified for people to suggest that the script and Wonder Woman's characterization provides support for some of the criticisms of Whedon in terms of his feminist female characters. But frankly, while there's some hate on FS for Whedon, there's also plenty of anons who seize upon even mild criticism or expressions of dislike for him as "hate", which is really silly.

I don't have any feelings on Whedon the writer but I haven't enjoyed or been very interested in most of his work so I'm neither a fan nor a hater. Just pointing out that rabid anti-Whedon people do exist who will use the WW script as fuel for their fires.

They should totally not talk about the thing that showed they were right, and totally let the people who insulted them go on doing so.

Whedon fans have been wrong, and need to just learn to sit there and be wrong for a while. Quit trying to wriggle out from under this one.

Did you reply to the wrong comment? I don't know what this response has to do with me, unless you're either implying I'm a secret Whedon fan in disguise, or only two types of people exist to you, people who love Whedon or people who hate him.

Mostly I don't care about him. He and the themes he writes about don't interest me.

Oh, absolutely. But the quality of the script makes it excellent fuel, so I can't really summon up much outrage for "anti-Whedonites will use the awful, sexist script he wrote to support their argument that his writing is awful and sexist"!

I'm not all that outraged either. I can get why OP might be annoyed by vitriolic anti-Anyones though, purely due to vitriolic anti-Anyones tending to not be very pleasant even when their targets deserve it. Plus they have a bad tendency to start targeting anyone who likes works by the problematic person in question. You can see an example of that happening in the thread above this one and I don't even like Whedon.
