Oh, fair enough, I can believe that. I was mostly asking because I couldn't think of any obvious examples, but I don't really pay attention to anime / yuri fandom stuff.

...Third movie completely annihilates that, because Homura outright declares love for Madoka.

Yeah but...just because Homura loved her doesn't mean Madoka loved that way.

I saw that movie. Madoka loved everyone, not one single person. And it wasn't romantic either.
