YES! I have said that, myself. Actually, i recently watched 'Train to Busan' and it was very, very close. SMART people doing smart things in a crazy situation, and winning a lot (but losing, too).

So many 'horror' movies are just gore-porn, and so damn boring it's not even worth the time.

I discovered I really love found-footage films, and they are ALL horror, and I'm not that into horror, but what can you do? Actually found-footage films kind of make people's choices seem less dumb--there's no driving soundtrack, no stylized shots, no slo-mo etc.

I would like to like found-footage movies, but the shaky-cam effect basically makes me motion sick, so.....

But interesting observation.
