It doesn't sound stupid to me? Most people don't like being treated like a punchline.

Just watching the trailer it looks more like Kill Bill or The Craft, where the point is that the protagonist is awful too. But, if that's not what the creator intended then I understand your hesitation.

Oh, yeah, the trailer looked brilliant... Then I went to Tvtropes, found nothing, then checked wikipedia, where I found out it may be... Uncomfortable for me. I don't like feeling like a scumbag and that's always how these things go.

Yeah, I'm just gonna have to bite the bullet and hope it doesn't make me regret it. Any other choice is stupid>
