Rock on.

Using D&D alignment as a shorthand, I'd say he's more Chaotic Neutral leaning evil. "Here, I'm going to give you magic powers in a crapsack world. I'm interested in seeing what you do with them!"

I don't think he's particularly evil leaning. He is pretty displeased with Daud and disappointed in Corvo when you play on high chaos and go around murdering everyone.

NAYRT

I dunno, I got the impression that playing high chaos is doing what everyone else would do, how droll and boring and disappointing - not him morally castigating you. He's definitely interested in people doing "bad" things or seeing if he can get them to do them, but disappointed if they end up doing them in the typical power mad way.

I'd say his defining traits are boredom and cynicism. He knows all possible futures, but not which one will actually happen, and he usually predicts the unpleasant ones. It disappoints him when people live down to his expectations, and he's genuinely surprised if Corvo decides that revenge is pointless.

Well don't be like that and not name the game.

Dishonored (and Dishonored 2)

Thanks! I am off to find some LPs too. :D

Its a really good game! Keep in mind there are different ways to play the game which make for a vastly different playing experience (high chaos makes it a hack and slash where low chaos makes it a stealth game, but the story also changes to some degree, and changes your interactions with The Outsider) so I would recommend looking at a couple Lets Plays :o

Pretty sure it's the Dishonored series?

I know The Outsider is technically 15 years old, but damn, he's hot.

Anime tells me that it's okay to fuck a hundred-year-old vampire who looks like a six-year-old. If you buy that, then surely it's okay to fuck a thousand-year-old Satanic archetype who looks like a teenager.

For a second, I thought that was Johnny Depp in the Dark Shadows movie...
