Are we going to do the rest of her Dragonriders of Ancient Egypt series, or just that one book?

Well, it has dragons in it, and it's a fantasy series, and no one who didn't read the first book will want to read the rest, so I think we can rest assured that we're going to read every single book in the series

We haven't done all the Juliet E McKenna Aldebreshin books and they are dragon series novels. We only did the first of those.

I am torn between advising just to read the three, because they make a fantastic trilogy, but also wanting to bring up the fourth one because of what a total trainwreck it is.

I was hesitant to add Joust to the book club suggestions list because the fourth book is so weird. Joust is my favorite book with dragons in it.

I'm glad you added it, I like it a lot! It's just kind of funny how the 4th book goes entirely off the rails. I wonder if she meant it to be a trilogy and then the publisher ordered a 4th one and she pulled a different plot from something else?
