Probably anything to do with veganism.

Everyone else just admits that there is something, but leaves it at that, the vegan has to be evangelizing for veganism and making herself a martyr. This is why you never need to ask if there is a vegan in the room.

I have actually seen vegans say that if you're not trying to get everyone else to be vegan then you're not a real vegan. I'm not saying all vegans are like that, because I know they're not, but seeing someone say that was uncomfortable.

Yeah, that sounds really annoying, but those vegans are wrong. The word has a meaning.

Vegans are politicized vegetarians. Any time you combine evangelical politics with a belief system you get ... well, you know.

I have yet to meet a vegan who didn't tie their eating habits to their politics, and then get evangelical about it. My bad luck? Maybe. Or another example of extremists going to extreme.

Veganism is a political stance. Vegetarianism is a personal choice, veganism is about trying to radicalize others.

So what would you be if you simply chose not to eat animal products?

A vegetarian with no qualifiers like lacto or ovo.
