TV shows have to make money, that is their entire reason for existing. I think they bungled something in the distribution department, licensing, product placement, definitely dvd sales. Not the fault of the show itself, but a contributing factor in its demise.

I agree that TV shows have to make money. But I think the problem is that it's easy to conclude that, if a show was cancelled, it must have been for rational financial reasons, when this is not necessarily the case. Cancellation and renewal are financial decisions but they're also made by people. Maybe they did fuck up the licensing, or maybe it was a dumb decision to cancel it, we don't actually know.
