That guy looks NOTHING like the actual James I. However, I would actually love a show or movie about ol King Jimmy because his life was really interesting. Just this incredible mixture of tragedy and farce. I'd like a show that really dug into his childhood and early-mid adolescence and how deeply the stuff he went through affected him throughout the rest of his life.

He does look exactly like a combination of the actors who played his mother, his father and his uncle though. So it's not true to life but it is great continuity in universe.

I feel like I understand him better after having watched, essentially, teh story of how he came to be. But we got very little time with the character. So it was like being shown something which could have been really interesting, and having it snatched away at the last minute.
