She was very blatantly being a dick about the situation. Saying she was 'a little bummed' is sugar-coating her attitude towards it tbh and a lot of people thought she was shit-talking the newer actresses because a lot of her Tweets implied that they weren't good enough.

It was only after the backlash that she 'clarified' (in a much nicer tone to her tweet, might I add) that she didn't have anything against the actresses and blamed her salty ass on reasons you just mentioned.

So uh I looked up her reaction and saw nothing terribly bad. I don't see how she was "blatantly being a dick" unless you have some deleted tweets.

Unfortunately not, as they are deleted tweets. I'm ashamed to say I remember seeing it on ONTD before I left a while ago.
