(Anonymous) 2017-06-27 03:15 am (UTC)(link)That said wrt the history of this kind of thinking anyone who hasn't ought to at least read "Paranoid Style In American Politics." I also think that there's a lot of interesting stuff with regards to these themes in 19th century Europe in the early parts of Arendt's "Origins of Totalitarianism." And of course if you want to get into occult societies and all that sort of thing, there's a tremendous literature there, even once you weed out the bugfuck lunatics.
