Oh, seriously, fuck off.

Morally rejecting Gadot as an artist is one thing, but pivoting to actively ignore her work and credit it to someone else is another. Ignore the movie if you want but it's not Chris Pine's movie.

You are saying Chris Pine did not play a good supporting man role then? That seems a little dismissive. It is a big break from the usual blockbuster format and he helped make it. You gotta stand up and applaud that. Especially when at this point in his career he'd be expecting main lead status (like in the Whedon version), but he was big enough a man to step back, underplay his acting, and give his support so Gadot wouldn't fail or be overshadowed. That takes a big man to do that.

You didn't say Chris Pine was a good leading man. You said that "This really was Chris Pine's movie." Stop it.

don't feed the troll. they already got what they want - look, very few secrets about WW

SA

Didn't say that he was a good supporting actor, excuse me.

Also, you're a troll and I want to make that clear

(Anonymous) 2017-06-28 11:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Because any viewpoint you disagreed with must be a troll.

It is still true that without Pine supporting the movie that it would be nowhere near as good. Man does good work, and is big enough to not need lead status.

(Anonymous) 2017-06-28 11:26 pm (UTC)(link)
No, because you started off with an extremely provocative and stupid statement, and then said something completely different when someone criticized you for it

(Anonymous) 2017-06-28 11:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Again, any statement you don't like you just call stupid now.

Are you saying Chris Pine did not really do a great job in performing in this movie and supporting it? This is the movie he makes bank on in his professionalism and his understated talent. I hope that gets recognized. Without him this would be a far less substantial and enjoyable movie. What part of that do you think is wrong? Chris Pine in Wonder Woman is awesome.

That isn't to downplay David Thewlis though. He ricked his role. And the cinematography from Matt Jensen and editing from Martin Walsh are spot on. It is a real collaborative movie. Remove any of those parts and the whole thing crashes.

I was kinda sorry for her, that the first man she sees is CP. I just...don't find him *remotely* attractive.

Yeah, different tastes all around. For me, Chris Pine was the only reason why I wanted to watch the movie. *g*
