... but you had to spend it on someone else besides yourself or your significant other, who would you spend it on and why?

Does it have to be one person, or can we give it to charity? I'd probably use it to buy stuff for the animal shelter if I could do that. If I have to spend it on one person, I'd spend it on my sister because she's having a rough time right now, and an extra 100 would be really useful to her.

One of the people begging for their life on the internet because the health care system fucked them over.

Yeah, same. The worst part is that in a lot of cases it wouldn't even help that much. :/

This is the only reason I wouldn't do the same. There are so many things I can think of wanting to donate money to. But how far would 100 go?

Donate it to an African malaria charity probably

My little sister because she is always struggling. Would probably pay one of her bills.

My mom because she never spends money on herself.

My grandparents are dead, my brother has enough cash, I guess I'd donate it to a cause. Maybe Andy Wightman. He's been running a series of exposes of foreign owners who are abusing Scottish land laws and general tax dodging, but he's getting sued in a frivolous suit for doing so in the hope of driving him to bankruptcy and silencing him. I'd give a hundred bucks to his cause to help him fight that.

I'd give it to my aunt. She's blind and only works part-time, so she could use the extra money.

I'd bring a bunch of food to work, put it on a grocery store or fast food giftcard and give it to a homeless person, give ot to my local animal shelter, or donate it to Planned Parenthood or the SPLC or the ACLU.

My little niece, because she's the most awesome 2-year-old ever and needs a dragon costume to become Most Awesome 2-Year-Old Ever.

Either find a good local charity to give the money to, or give it to my best friend so they could pay some bills or get some groceries or something.

My kids? If not then I'd give it to a friend who is moving from California to Colorado.

I would spend it on my Mom. She needs new clothes. She only has one pair of pants for work, one pair of blue jeans, and two pairs of shorts. The blue jeans recently got a tear in the seat. She lost weight and her old clothes were too worn out to resize or repair.

Okay, I might spend it on your mom, too. That sucks.

Does spending it on my cat count as spending it on myself, since its stuff I'd buy anyway?

If yeah, then probably my mom (help her with some bills) or friends in need (help them with bills)

Donate to PBS or NPR or the local school district.
