I'd like to go to the ruins of Alderaan.

Follow me here. The Death Star turned ALderaan into a cloud of meteor debris, but the debris has still got to be vaguely in the same orbital plane. Give it a couple of billion years and it will recoalesce. Take a few of those interdictor craft which create huge gravity wells and park them in Alderaan's orbit. Suddenly you've cut that coalescence down to a few thousand years instead.

It is a long project, but the message is that no matter what the Empire did that it will be reversed. That nothing they did will stand. I'd love to see that project. You cannot tell me that it isn't happening. Bonus points; say that while Leia was in charge of it, because Leia would so be all over that as Leia is fierce, she put Lando in charge of the day to day stuff because that smooth bastard could make anything work and find all the right talent to keep it going and hurrying it up.

That is my headcanon and nothing has contradicted it so far!
