It is about an Irish boy and his little sister and includes a lot of Irish folklore. I don't want to give anything away. The animation is beautiful and the songs are as well. Lisa Hannigan voices one of the characters and sings a lot of the songs, she is the voice actress for Blue Diamond from Steven Universe. Here is a link to one of the songs from the movie. https://youtu.be/vUZ_smvqVQ8
Long Way North
An aristocratic 14 year old girl sets out to find her famous explorer grandfather. He disappeared while sailing to find the North Pole. Set in Russia during 1882. The animation style was a little off putting at first, but I grew to love it.
How to Train Your Dragon
Lilo and Stitch
Studio Ghibli movies- the backgrounds are breathtaking.
