No you twit, it's fine to be sad, or to talk about your feelings to the people around you, but to post it on a public Twitter account with a lot of followers, there's definitely some agenda there. Like he wants his followers to dislike the guy just for drifting away and validate his feelings that his old friend was really a jerk. He just sounds so butthurt and petty about it. I've had plenty of great friends drift away over the years and I never posted tacky shit like this about them everywhere.

Yup. There's a place for that kind of situation....and social media isn't it. Significantly less so when your account is that public.

i mean, lashing out because you're hurt is a very human thing and i don't see the big deal. yeah, obviously he wants to be validated, but don't we all?

Right? And if he wasn't 'famous' (I use quotes because I have no idea who the fuck he is), he'd be allowed to put it on Twitter because no one would care, right?

relying on your fans for emotional validation is one of the worst ways to go about it

Didn't say it was a big deal, and yeah, I understand the need to be validated. The point originally made was that it's tacky. And it is.

And when you're a celebrity you have to take even more responsibility to not drag personal tensions out into the public, especially when it's not like you should depend on the support of strangers on the internet.
