Oh god, I don't even know. I love silly arguments as long as people don't take them too seriously.

Back in high school my friend and I had a running argument over whether four or five was a better number.

Hmmm, now you've got me thinking about this too much. I feel like my first instinct is to say 4. I think I like that it's an even number, and it's two pairs, and there's four corners to a square, so it feels like it has a nice level of symmetry that I like. On the other hand, I like the easy mathematical ability of 5. 5, 10, 15, 20. So now, I am undecided.

Out of curiousity, which did you think was the better number?

I went with five.

I always feel the need to correct people if they say fuck stands for "for unlawful carnal knowledge." I have no idea why I care, I mean if they're going around thinking fuck is an acronym it's hardly a big deal.

The one I hate is "fornication under consent of the king" where they don't even realize that fornication refers specifically to sex outside of marriage and doesn't make sense for the little story they made up to go with the phrase.
