Bleh, do you want Pence?

Yes. How could Pence POSSIBLY be worse? At least Pence understands how to act dignified and not get into Twitter fights.

This. Pence is terrible politically (from my point of view anyway) but at least he would take the presidency seriously.

And Pence (as an actual politician) actually knows what the word compromise means because he wants to have an actual career being a politician.

On the other hand Pence might be able to accomplish some of his undoubtedly awful agenda, while Trump is floundering about failing all over the place which means millions of people still have healthcare, so...

Republicans are accomplishing enough regardless of Trump's incompetence.

Sure, but you asked how he could possibly be worse. And having a united, professional Republican control of all three branches could very easily be worse.

I don't think so because at least a professional Republican group would try to compromise on various subjects.

With all three branches they wouldn't have to though, is the problem. If they could get their act together within themselves.

Pence isn't likely to get pissy enough that someone mocked his bad toupee that he launches a nuclear war.

Wow, are you not familiar with Pence at all? He's basically the Christian Taliban! And "...a professional Republican group would try to compromise"?!? What planet are you from! They'd rather run the country off a cliff than compromise, they've proven this again and again! Trump getting elected in the first place is proof of it, they don't gaf what batshit diarrhea comes out of his mouth or what he does as long as they get what they want! Compromise?!? You're delusional if you think they'll compromise on anything!!!

I think they are still stuck on the idea that the GOP is like it was pre-Reagan era, or at very least Bush the 1st. They just have not worked out how far the modern GOP has departed from that party.

Yeah, he tried to do that stuff and it didn't work. It won't work at a national level. But with Pence in charge we'd at least not have to worry about our president starting nuclear war because he didn't get a snickers for lunch.

Trump being in charge doesn't stop ANY of that from happening. You don't think Pence and company aren't running everything behind the scenes? Trump not being in charge will at least make us a bit less of a laughingstock.

Again, so not my biggest concern. My biggest concern is prosecuting the fuck out of these asshats and getting our damn government back.

But I was talking about who is worse Trump or Pence. Sure, it'd be nice if neither was governing. But they are.

And I'm saying Pence is worse. At least tRump's seeming dementia and idiocy are keeping the GOP hopping so hard to control the story, they're not getting a lot done. Pence would be worse because he's not as much of a social idiot, and he'd get the fuckers organized.

They are getting a hell of a lot done already. The only thing Trump is doing is ensuring the media pays more attention to his latest tweets than actual issues.

Also, I'm far more concerned about environmental and economic issues than social. The majority of the population is for equal rights and they have groups and laws to protect those.
