Agreed.

And I think in the long run it's good for writers to write those kinds of fics, or other types of fics that people tend to look down upon, because every writer has to start somewhere, right? Writing something, regardless of how "bad" it is, is always good practice, and helps writers figure out what works and doesn't work in a story and why, both for their own personal style and for writing in general.
