You and me both. If you ignore the whole "Yukimura is a God" thing - which frankly was stupid - people want to worship someone who advocates letting his vice smack people around anf letting one of his playes try to cause permanent damage to his opponents. In the name of a FREAKING MIDDLE SCHOOL GAME. Srsly. I think in reality, the team would've been disqualified, and he'd have been removed as captain if any of that crap went down.

And the sad thing is, anon comment has to be anon because his fanigirls are so damn rabid and shoot to kill.

It's scarily true how rabid Yukimura's fans are. I'd never dare say anything under my actual journal for fear of the fangirls. Besides, I have issues with the fact that he fully recovered from a fatal and non-curable disease in time to play at the end of the series. *headdesk*

Heh, I know the feeling. It's because there are about a million and one issues with him that I alternately love him and love to hate him (and the same could be said of Rikkai as a whole, I guess). I'm not scary about it - I'm not a public fan - but remember that there are some Yukimura fans who know that the whole thing is ridiculous. (Love-hate relationships are the best, anyway.) But really, we should all blame it on Konomi. It's all his fault anyway.

...which rabid fangirls are these meant to be? I think I've never seen any... though I know plenty of people who like him well enough.

(Also, FFS - realism in Tenipuri? Don't start. Almost any character can be totally dismantled like that. :D)
