107. I was just going to epicly confirm this, but then you said you hated the dub, and that ruined it.

111. I'm a member, and I say just give it a shot with the spanish canon. Honestly, how different can it be? Plus you can always put a note about that at the top of your app.

140. This would probably have been a better idea when the RP was super active. Now...not so much.

But it's on par with the stuff 4kids produces. D: The voice acting was fine, in fact, I'm still a fan of Tai's VA. But they changed the music, cut out/painted over things for no reason, and there was so much stupid dialog. And it wasn't even funny stupid dialog. It was like when someone tells a joke at a party and NO ONE laughes.

But that's the appeal! Sure, it was cheesy, and in hindsight the theme song is godawful, and the lines were lame, and every second sentence was a bad pun, but when you're an 8/9 yo kid it's the greatest thing ever. I know if I watched Digimon for the first time now, I'd hate the dub, but I grew up with it, and can never hate on it. It's a beautiful thing.

Should I feel bad that I loved the theme song? And that it still kind of has a soft spot for me?

But yeah, word on everything you said just now. That's exactly how I feel. I recently rewatched a couple of my fave eps, and was going "God this is so cheesy" but still couldn't resist the warm squishy feeling.

Dude, I love the theme song in all of it's spastic awful-ness. I still do. :D

My brother and I were rewatching the entire first season (until life caught up with us...I must remind him that we have to take it back up). It brings back the greatest nostalgic memories. I'm not really a part of the digimon fandom anymore, but I have my favourite characters that I find difficult to let go. :D

IAWTC. I never watched the sub but the charm of Adventure and 02 was that it was so corny and lulzy sometimes. I want to watch the subbed version but I feel like when I do the show will lose some of its charm for me.

I'm sorry, but I have to laugh at that. =/ I'd take the Digimon dub over any 4Kids dub any day of the week.

I think It's a lot better than what 4Kids would have done to it. D= I know they cut out the epic fight between Tai and Matt, but all of the rampant smoking would've been cut out if it had been the other way around. And the bombs. And stuff. In fact, it would've been what Disney did to Savers a few months ago. Depressing.

The music... I guess it's a matter of taste, because I find the original music a little grating. The dub's music is still some of the most beautiful I've ever heard, and I'm still looking around the internet for any of them at all. Placement, on the other hand, could've been a lot better. The original Digimon benefited greatly from its use of silence.
