I'm not even super into SPN, but Castiel's intro was awesome.

I think both Sherlock and John's introductions were pretty great. In fact, I liked Sherlock's a lot, but I think I actually preferred John's (both the scene in the bedsit and the scene with his therapist). Those scenes introduced his character with a kind of delicacy and quietness that the show...pretty much never came back to. I vividly remember watching A Study In Pink for the first time, and how, by the time John said his now fan-famous line, "Nothing happens to me," I was basically irrevocably in love with the show. In hindsight, I maybe should have held back a little, lol.

Oh, yeah. John's is fantastic as well. But I figured more people would like Sherlock's flashy entrance.
