I dislike that camera view as it kills my eyes (in games that is) ... which is a shame as from fan art, I thought it might be interesting to check out.

Alas ... others mentioned he might be an alcoholic and did the mission make him be sober for a while then rebound? It happens ... quite a lot. Being in therapy, recognising the issue, actively working towards it and others' support are only a part of it. My mum went sober more than 15 years ago and had one relapse where she had wanted to see if she can drink rarely like others (answer is always a 'no') - she put alcohol right away. Whereas as I so far was unable to and am decreasing amount by 'drinking days' (my issue is pedantic routine control).

I know it's nice to see character progress and seeing outcome but with addictions it is way trickier.

I think I was the anon who mentioned this. It wasn't so much that he relapsed, as that it seemed like that particular part of his character arc was completely ignored once you got it. He still is seen dealing with his depression, which has good and bad days, which is normal.

But other than him mentioning he stopped drinking after hospitalization, during a romance cut-scene, it's never really mentioned. They don't talk about it, he's not seen with the soda he prefers over alcohol, he's at the bar all of the time drinking, (I think he once made an excuse about him having to stop by, for alcoholic-related reason, but after that it was completely dropped), and has the same alcohol-related cut-scenes at festivals as he did before.

Basically I know recovery is hard, but I wish they'd actually addressed it with him once you marry him. Because they managed to make it a point to handle his depression, but seemed to ignore/continue all of the alcoholic-related cut-scenes and the like that he had before that part of his character arc, like it had never existed.
