Nope, cause I never suggest to anyone to play higher difficulty unless easy mode doesn't include important parts of the game, like the true ending. I can have an opinion without proselytizing.

I've even played easy mode on some games, once because my PTSD kinda brain damaged me for a little while and I couldn't handle the mental rigor of a detective game I was playing. Even on the easist mode I still had to use a guide. I'm definitely not the sort to make fun of, or even look down at people who play on easier modes.

OP said they only play games for the story, so I think I'm interpreting it more or less along the lines of the information they've given us.
