I know someone whose figure is best described as 'motherly' who has noooooooo trouble at aaaaaaaaaall pulling.

Conventionally pretty is overrated.

I have a pretty good figure. I used to be fat but I lost over 100 pounds.
My face could crack glass, though.

I'm going to take your word for it that you're - conventionally speaking - not very good looking. And it seems that this bothers you (that's totally fair).

So, I mean, obvious thought is obvious, but is there anything you can do (that you're not already doing) to make yourself "better looking" on a day-to-day basis? I mean, I'm going to assume plastic surgery is off the table, but what about makeup? And a good haircut/color?

I suppose there must be people out there who are just so unfortunate looking that there's nothing to be done. I can think of exactly one girl I've known who was just that unfortunate looking. But from what I've seen of people, I'd say that a good 98% of the time cosmetics and a good haircut can make an "ugly" person appear "decent-looking" and can make a "decent-looking" person appear "pretty."

Also, I'm a new anon. I forgot to mention that before. Since my comment is maybe a little contentious, I don't want it to be attributed to the wrong person - even the wrong anon. :P

my hair looks great, it's my face that's lousy. people I don't even know say horrible things to me. I have a really sour expression in my passport photo because the photographer insulted me right before he took it. I do wear some makeup but makeup doesn't solve everything.
