Honestly I have so much trouble registering this character as "boy". Shotas are basically fantasy creatures, I've never seen a real life kid so disturbingly pretty.

That wasn't him. That was his descendent. I didn't bother to watch the movie but that's what I heard.

Eh, it was honestly more like they just plopped in a different character entirely to be honest. They were like, "Omg long lost son of some guy who is secretly a girl." but the names were purely Japanese so there was no way to pin down whether she was intended to be Ciel's descendant or they just took the idea of Kuroshitsuji and did a spin off LA.

I don't watch black butler but I know the feel. Every once in a while, I'll think a certain character is a girl, only for it to be revealed that they're actually a boy. I always leave disappointed.
