I dunno...honestly I do think some professions are vilified for reasons, in the sense that say, investment bankers will generally go for profit and not for helping orphans. It's not like they're mwahaha evil people, but the nature of their profession is profit driven and hot people driven.

Now, if you'd have an investment banker who gives free financial advice to poor people as a charity, I'd be interested....

Sympathetic characters who are CEOs of companies whose literal job it is to raise value for shareholders and fuck everyone else are pretty common though. Usually totally glossed over, too.

tbh, I have no great love for CEO's, if that helps. Often I find them almost a caricature in fiction, either way.
